Bring binoculars and wear outdoor clothing suitable for the weather forecast. Our outings are free for members and the public. (We may have binoculars to loan for your outing.)

Thursday, October 10, Crane Creek Regional Park, Sant a Rosa, 8:30-10:30 AM
5000 Pressley Road, off Petaluma Hill Road Rohnert Park.

Saturday, October 19, Spring Lake Regional Park, Santa Rosa, 8:30-11:00 AM

Park in large lot opposite Swim Lagoon.. We will walk to North Pennisula and return. Parking Permit required (may pay at entrance kiosk). For questions call 559-779-5211.

Take US 101 North to Old Redwood Highway exit 498, left onto Windsor River Road. Proceed to Eastside Road, turn left  go about 2 miles.  Park permit is required. We will meet near the Redwood grove/restrooms.  The trails are all level. Info: 707 480-3432.

Saturday, November 2., Ellis Creek Ponds, Petaluma 8:00-10:00 AM

Take Highway 101 to Petaluma.  Go East on 116 (Lakeville Highway). Turn right (south) on S. McDowell Blvd. Turn right on Cypress Drive. Go to the end of the road and through gates. Meet near the restrooms. Info: (559) 779-5211.

Thursday.. November , 14, Bodega Bay, 8:30-10:30 AM

We will meet at Doran Beach (Regional Park). Park pass is required. Meet in the second lot on the let with the cement restrooms. We will walk the Bird Trail and check out Doran Beach area. Moderate rain will cancel. It can be windy, so layer up to keep warm. Info: 707 526-5883.

Carved Bird Pins

In the 1970s, member Tom Olds hand-carved bird pins and sold them to raise money for Madrone Audubon. More
